Healthwatch Wolverhampton helps local people get the best out of health and social care services such as; doctors, hospitals, dentists, mental health services, nursing homes and social workers. We do this by finding out what matters to you and help make sure your views shape the support you, your family and your community need.

People’s views come first, especially those that find it hard to be heard. That is why we are setting up Youth Healthwatch, so that children and young people in Wolverhampton are given the same opportunity to have their say.

Why should I get involved?

Everyone uses health or social care services and this is an opportunity to help influence and shape them.

Your involvement will not only help others but it will help you, as a volunteer you will be able to use your skills and knowledge, and develop new skills with the support of the team at Healthwatch.

It’s an experience that you can put on your CV and UCAS applications, helping you to stand out from the crowd when applying for jobs.
