Can you help give BAME woman a maternity voice?

The Black Country and West Birmingham Local Maternity and Neonatal System wants to reach out to pregnant Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic women.

Working with Maternity Voices Partnerships, they want to provide information about local services for women and their families, reassure them that maternity services are available and safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, and encourage them to seek help if they have any concerns.

But to do this they need to find out more about the thoughts, feelings and concerns that local BAME women have. What would give them confidence in the services available and make them feel supported and confident about asking for help?

Please help to give BAME women and their families a maternity voice by sharing this anonymous survey with BAME expectant women or women who have given birth between March  2020 – current, your local communities and the organisations that represent them.

Their feedback is vital if we want to shape and support accessible, consistent and effective Maternity Services across the Black Country and West Birmingham.

Please find the link to the survey here; https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/7XJRMXD

Survey ends Tuesday 15 September 2020.
