What do we want to know?
Building on our work from last year, we want to hear from people using adult social care services in Wolverhampton to strengthen our insight of their experiences. We want to know the types of services residents are receiving, how well these services work together, and where there might be room for improvement alongside the development of Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs).
Why are we asking?
Our report in March 2026 showed that Adult social care plays a vital role in the lives of local people and it matters that services work well for everyone who relies on them. From the intelligence we gather, and through our ongoing engagement and partnership work, we know there are important issues and experiences that still need to be heard as INTs embed. This ongoing review enables us to track progress, capture changes and update our earlier report to reflect improvements and further learning.
This work is also part of building a stronger partnership between Healthwatch Wolverhampton and statutory services.
How will your feedback make a difference?
One Wolverhampton brings together health, social care, voluntary, and community organisations to improve health and care services across the city. A key priority is the ongoing development of INTs, which will enable services to work more closely together to provide more coordinated, person-centred support that better meets local people’s needs.
We will analyse the feedback we gather to develop an evolving look into how we can create smoother care services for adults in Wolverhampton through a community-based approach.
