My whole experience today was abysmal
5 attempts to get through all with a queue of over 30. Three times cut off once when actually speaking to the receptionist
I needed a prescription for illness I had for three days. It wasn’t a repeat so the answer was NO. Despite being in pain and having no sleep and reduced to tears my pleading was in vain.
To add insult the next available phone consultation available was for Friday 4 days away.
I understand the walk-in centre is available I telephoned to be told 2 hrs waiting time
I am not willing to sit in that environment during the corona pandemic when I have kept myself safe for 18 months
My family members can manage to get through within 5 minutes and receive a phone consultation with doctor on the same day
This is the first time I have complained during over 50 years of being with the practice.
I have always found the doctors most helpful but really the initial contact with surgery is not good, in fact it is dreadful.
If other surgery’s are managing to give a much better service why can’t my Parkfield surgery do the same
