GP’s via telephone … I was told I would be contacted on the Friday or the following Monday , No one had been in touch so on the tuesday afternoon I visited the surgery with my discharge note I was given by the paramedics …… . While waiting for the receptionist to help some before me , once they got to me the receptionist was busy typing something on the computer I waited and waited for the receptionist to even acknowledge my presence several long minutes later I was asked if they could help me . After explaining why I came in , the receptionist quickly told me , I must of made a mistake and that when I called in the person I spoke might of told me to call in on the Friday or the Monday … ( which made no sense ) . The receptionist then started flicking through a diary , telling me nothing was written there .
This is not unusual to be dismissed and be told you made a mistake or got something wrong by the staff on reception when in fact they dropped the ball .
There customer / patient interaction is terrible . It would not be an exaggeration to say they can be downright rude .
The receptionist told me someone ( the nurse practitioner will be in touch with me ) We shall see…….
this surgery is a joke this should be put under special measure. NHS must monitored and save the quality life of patients otherwise god help the patients
