Summary of Findings

Recommendations of this visit included:

  • Ensure the front door is locked at all times.
  • The Home introduces a uniform policy or some form of identification for staff.
  • The Home introduces/encourages activities which are regularly available for residents to participate in.
  • Communication with the families is re-established and maintained on a regular basis.
  • The Garden is ‘fit for purpose’ ie rubbish/objects are removed for Health and Safety.
  • To introduce a staff room in the conservatory, for staff to have the opportunity of a break and for personal belongings to be stored/locked away.
