All Age Carers Strategy development – professionals survey

The City of Wolverhampton Council are inviting professionals from organisations who come into contact with, or provide support to carers in Wolverhampton, to have their say to help shape a new strategy which will aim to ensure the right support and services are in place for them, and the people that they look after.

The City of Wolverhampton Council is developing an All Age Carers Strategy and wants to hear from you about your experience of supporting carers to better understand their caring roles, needs and what would improve their quality of life.

Carers are adults, children and young people who provide unpaid care for a friend, family member, child or neighbour who, due to illness, disability, a mental health need or an addiction, would not be able to cope without their support. It includes people who receive Carers Allowance.

An eight-week engagement programme has been launched which will close on Friday 28 January, 2022. To have your say, please complete this short survey by the 14 January 2022. Your feedback is important to us.

You will also receive an invite to attend a virtual focus group if you wish. This will take place via Microsoft Teams on Friday 28 January 2022, 2pm-4pm. At this session we will share the initial findings and priorities that have been identified through the engagement process to shape the All Age Carers Strategy for the city.
