We’re your health and social care champion

We’re here to listen to your experiences of using local health and care services and to hear about the issues that really matter to you. We are entirely independent and impartial, and anything you share with us is confidential. We can also help you find reliable and trustworthy information and advice to help you to get the care and support you need.

As an independent statutory body, we have the power to make sure that NHS leaders and other decision makers listen to your feedback and use it to improve standards of care, locally and nationally. Healthwatch Wolverhampton is part of a network of over 150 local Healthwatch across England.

Healthwatch England report: Faster progress needed to tackle barriers to care

Access to care is the main concern people have shared with Healthwatch in the past year. A new report by Healthwatch England looking at health and social care from the patients' perspective has warned that we risk "a two-tier health and care system" unless the NHS takes faster action to tackle access issues.

Enter and View: Primrose Hill Nursing Home

Our report following a visit to the Primrose Hill Nursing Home in the Bushbury area of Wolverhampton. Split over three floors for up to 50 residents, it comprises three units, each designed to provide specialist care and support for those people living dementia, complex nursing needs and those people requiring end of life care and support.
